In peace you come,
In peace you shall go.
Of sweet days and dates,
Of the loving memory we have.

The fasting month has finally arrived; May all of you find this month a blessed and fruitful one this year. :)

I would not recommend that you link that website as it appears to be a wahabi inspired extremist site. It gives a very narrow interpretation of Islam and seeks to divide than unite. I urge you to remove it as it would give your non-Muslim readers the wrong impression of Islam.

What is wrong with it Anonymous?

Abdul: the website seeks to mislead unknowing Muslims. Apart from labelling eminent scholars like Nuh Ha Mim Keller, Hamza Yusuf and Abdal Hakim Murad as deviants and sufism as bid'ah, it also goes on to discussing shortcomings of other faiths. Instead of spreading the beauty of Islam and tolerance of others, I feel what this site actually does is to spread enmity and hatred both amongst Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Not exactly a website I would want to introduce someone new to Islam to.

On the contrary, I find this site to be comprehensive and good for anyone who wants to learn that bit more. We all have to accept reality checks once in a while eh? I like to think that we are all aware of how to treat information found on the Net; that not all of it is reliable and we should all be able to make our own judgements as to which ones we want to accept. :)

hm, im afraid i will have to agree with anonymous... the website does seem to go a little over the edge in other sections. If it was merely a singular page on ramadhan it would be fine, but the tone it has on other religions is really quite strange/confrontational
